Rebecca Patterson biosketch
Rebecca Patterson completed her first postgraduate degree at the University of the Free State with distinction, and has twice won the dean’s medal in the Faculty of the Humanities as the top student in that faculty. She was also awarded an NRF internship during this time. She is currently engaged in writing an MA dissertation at Stellenbosch University on “The representation of childhood and youth in South African coming of age narratives”. She has co-authored several articles published in accredited South African journals, and has already shown remarkable creativity and talent as a language test designer for a spectrum of ICELDA’s tests. She is a research fellow of the University of the Free State.
