ICELDA project associate Sanet Steyn has passed the MA in Applied Linguistics at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen with distinction. The recipient of the prestigious Erasmus Mundus scholarship, she spent the last year in the Netherlands to read for the MA. During this time, she also served an internship with ICELDA in order to develop and pilot our new Test of Early Academic Literacy (TEAL), of which she was the sole designer. Her dissertation on the design and refinement of TEAL formed part of her study.
